About the Arranger

Dana started arranging while he was still in high school, forming the foundation for a life-long love affair with music, both written and in performance. His wide range of skills and interests led him into a dual-degree program at the University of Michigan, in Choral Music Education and Computer Science. Dana now lives in New York City where he works as a freelance musician. In addition to arranging, he also sings, teaches, and music directs theatre shows. He also assists with the award-winning Young People's Chorus of New York City, with whom he travelled to Germany in the summer of 2004.

Dana has been trained in Piano, Voice and Trumpet formally and in dozens of other instruments informally. His musical influences range from Mozart to Messeian, from Miles Davis to Cassandra Wilson, from The Rolling Stones to Radiohead, and from Cole Porter to Adam Guettel.
